Graduate Students

      *For the upcoming admissions cycle, we are seeking a bilingual (English–Spanish) student to join our lab. Prospective PhD applicants who are fluent in Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply.

Undergraduate Students & Research Volunteers

Are you interested in research at the intersection of psychology and neuroscience? The CANE Lab welcomes motivated undergraduate students and research volunteers from UNLV and beyond!
No prior research experience is required, students could receive training in areas such as:

  • Participant recruitment

  • Neuropsychological testing

  • Data management & Statistical analysis

  • Literature review

  • Scientific Communication

  • Community Outreach & Community Participatory Based Research

To ensure a meaningful experience, students are expected to commit to a minimum of two semesters in the lab. Completion of IRB training is required before starting research activities.

Highly motivated students may also have the opportunity to develop independent projects and present their work at scientific conferences.

The only skills our research volunteers need to start are enthusiasm, curiosity, and be eager to learn!
